Diana Hess, FNP

After my first appointment with NP Diana Hess at Cornerstone Clinic, I felt I had finally found the perfect place for quality health care in Anchorage. My impression was that I had been heard, understood, diagnosed, and that my medical needs would be addressed easily at the clinic and/or with a referral to a local orthopedist. The following day (Friday Dec 27th) however, I realized that the referral had not been sent to the VA for processing and scheduling a follow-on appointment (concerning my back injury). I called the clinic four times today (twice to the nurse practitioner's voicemail early in the day and twice to the office administrative staff). None of my calls were returned, but I did speak with an administrative assistant on my third attempt. I asked her 1) to re-fax the referral that wasn't transmitted yesterday and 2) call the VA employee who was waiting for it. Neither request was honored. The VA's voicemail to CC was also ignored. I must wait 5 days to start process again
