Awful experience
Child with a month long cold was told “I wouldn’t give my child an antibiotic so I won’t give yours one”. Told children are generally stuffy, I told him mine usually isn’t. Terrible bed side manner. Waste of time, would never see him again.

My family had a wonderful experience with Derek. My brother suffered a traumatic brain injury shortly before we took my brother to the ER. Dr. Hovick was his Dr. He was very patient and kind as he listened to family members and my brother. He was very proactive on his care. He wanted to make sure when we took him home he would be safe and healthy. I really appreciate this as a family member. When you are working with a patient with a traumatic brain injury, it is hard to know exactly what they are saying. Dr H was very patient with my brother. He even made my brother smile/laugh. I could truly tell he cared about his patients. I appreciate the time Dr. H takes with his patients and their family. When my family left, we felt comfort that our family member would be safe and healthy.
