Denise Fredette, LCSW

I couldn’t recommend Denise Fredette highly enough for therapy - from our very first session (almost 4 years ago), I felt heard, understood and supported by her. She’s created a comfortable space where I feel empowered to talk about all of life’s ups and downs without judgment, and I find that each session leaves me feeling like I learned something new about myself, or equipped with tools to help solve problems with work, family, relationships, etc. I’ve grown and learned so much about myself in the time we’ve worked together. If you are looking for an amazing therapist who is kind, compassionate, thoughtful and insightful, Denise is a great choice. I truly feel as though I hit the jackpot and am so grateful to have found her!

I found Denise after experiencing a traumatizing event. I saw a great therapist before who left. It isn't always a proper fit. Denise was a keeper. I eventually followed her to the practice she currently runs. Denise comes to sessions armed with compassion, empathy, careful attention and focus. When I seem to 'run off the rails', she drives the session back and helps me to focus. She also is not afraid to make me go down paths I'm not always thrilled about - but I always feel supported. Denise's intelligence, kindness and sense of humor are all wonderful tools that allow her to acutely zero in on my issues. She looks at the whole package of ME. The past, the present and - she often reminds me to imagine the future. Nothing is wasted; and her recall is excellent. I feel I am in wonderful, skilled hands with Denise. It's a very good collaboration that is helping me to heal.

Ms Fredette is very compassionate and empathetic. She is an amazing Therapist & Social Worker who earnestly cares about her patients. She listens effectively which is a very important attribute when counseling patients. As a result, I was able to allow her in my sacred space.
