Delenie Wong, NPC

My first visit to NEMS was in 2017, I had chronic pain and other symptoms for 6+ years and despite many visits to different healthcare providers (gynaecologists, nurses and MP) was not diagnosed. At first I was concerned to be seen by an NP, as a recent immigrant I didn't realise that it stood for nurse practitioner. But my concerns were entirely dispersed when Delenie Wong recognised my symptoms, took immediate action to get me scheduled to various diagnostic investigations and supported me all the way to a diagnosis that required multiple specialists; to, through and post surgery and to recovery. I have always felt that Delenie Wong sincerely cares about my wellbeing and without her I most likely would eventually have ended up in ER. Instead I have had a controlled and calm road through treatment and recovery. Delenie Wong listens to my concerns and makes me feel that it is ok to participate in my healthcare choices. I have never felt so supported by a medical professional.

Had an appointment with Delenie Wong and she was super friendly and informative. She seemed to genuinely care for me and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend her to other patients and it was really easy to schedule an appointment with her.

Very unpleasant experience with this provider , she was unfriendly , not knowledgable, and was irritated when I could not describe my pain to her satisfaction . I was in pain , but she was not sympathetic or helpful , she then prescribed a medication that made me feel even worse , it would have been helpful for her to listen and even suggest alternative mess from the drugstore or wholistic ideas to relieve pain . Very arrogant for someone who is supposed to be helping
