Deborah Merritt, ARNP

I visited Deborah Merritt at the CVS clinic because I was sure I had strep throat and wanted to get tested for it and some medication for the symptoms (I like having a dr. visit and pharmacy all in one trip). Turns out I'm lucky I didn't go to a more greedy doctor who could have just run the test and charged me for it! She explained that while there is a lab test she could do - it's smarter to work through the symptoms in a specific order and it might save me time and money. She explained something that sounded like a centaur score (maybe it's an acronym, idk), and determined that I actually had an upper-respiratory infection - I was surprised and a little bit skeptical, but she went above and beyond by calling the next day to confirm that we had an accurate diagnosis and course of treatment. I was very impressed, and she made me feel comfortable the whole time (even when I wasn't feeling my best). Thanks Doc, I'll be back!

I was there for a wellness exam for work. Ms. Merritt was extremely thorough in explaining my results and gave recommendations on how to maintain my health and physical fitness.

I visited Minute Clinic when my eye was swollen and so painful. I saw Deborah Merritt ARNP. This Nurse is pleasant and calming ( my eye hurt ) and professional. Asked questions, did a thorough exam and listened to me. The appointment ran on time and the clinic is clean. I left with a prescription which resolved my condition. A good experience.

Deborah Merritt, ARNP examined my 8-year old daughter at the CVS Minute Clinic, where I took her to have a suspected case of influenza diagnosed. Ms. Merritt took my daughter’s temperature and heart rate but ignored other vital signs, such as blood pressure and listening to the lungs, which she finally did at my insistence. Normally, doctors and NPs will use every tool at their disposal and take as much data as possible before making a diagnosis, so imagine my surprise to pay for an examination, get half an examination, and leave without even a flu test...the Minute Clinic was fresh out!
