Deborah Masino Lentine

I saw Dr Deborah Lentine because my usual primary was unavailable. I have a chronic disease that's monitored primarily by a specific set of blood work. She didn't seem to know anything about my disease and actually argued with me about the blood work and mechanics of the disease. She also left the room abruptly a few times without explaining why, and once come back suddenly agreeing with me about the blood work. She then ordered the wrong tests anyway and I had to have the receptionist correct it. If I hadn't done my own research and already known about the blood work from my other provider, I would've left without being monitored for another year and that would've been very dangerous. Not knowing every disease is understandable, arguing with someone about something you're ignorant about is unprofessional and harmful to patient care.

I had a cyst I needed looked it. As soon as I told her it was in my groin area she immediately gave me a disgusted look. Then once she prescribed me an antibiotic she started mocking pharmacists. Unprofessional. She made me feel like a disease.

I would not recommend Debbie Lentine to anyone. She completely missed a ruptured appendix when reading me my ultrasound results and advised me that my appendix was OK. This then resulted in me having to have emergency surgery to have my appendix removed, followed by a 5 day hospital stay due to infection since Debbie Lentine ruled out my appendix as the cause of the pain that I was experiencing.

I am a diabetic. I had trouble controlling my sugar for years despite seeing several doctors. When I first meet Ms. Lentine, she took the time to do a full exam and physical, as well as several diagnostic tests. She changed my medicines and my diabetes has been under control and at the lowest numbers to date. She also diagnosed me with high cholesterol which she has gotten under control through encouraging me to exercise and taking medications. Ms. Lentine took great care of me. I have lost 16lb

I've been seen by Deborah Lentine twice at this practice. I'm concerned that she uses her phone to Google medical advice during the appointment. This might not be a problem, but I've actually been given blatant misinformation about one of my conditions. I was also prescribed the wrong medication. A family member that has also seen Deborah Lentine has reported that he also did not trust her medical advice due to the Googling as well. I do not feel confident in her advice. Also felt rushed.
