Deborah Loewer, FNP

Worst "doctor" I have ever been to. I came in for a sore throat and she was convinced that because I didn't get a flu shot that I had the flu. She harped on me to get a flu shot. She then had me take a flu test without telling me about the astronomical charge that would incur, along with a strep test. She prescribed me a z-pack in case it was strep. I never even received results on the $600 flu test, just the bill. Though, strep was negative. On a follow up visit, due to my sore throat coming back, she had rushed me out of the office saying she didn't know, couldn't help me & to go to an ENT. On my way out of the office a minute later, I saw her leave through the back door to enter her Uber. Come to find out from the ENT, I had tonsilitis which was never even noted as a potential issue with Deborah. Additionally, the ENT said that a z-pack is NOT what she should have prescribed if it were strep.

It has been a few years now, but Deborah caught a significant issue with both my health and my husband's that no one had previously found or addressed. Ten years later we both credit her with better quality of life and often say we wish there was a way for us to see her still (we have Kaiser insurance now).

Deborah is a fantastic Family Nurse Practitioner. She is so caring and knowledgeable. All 4 of my kids, as well as I myself have seen her as my PCP. She found a problem with my youngest son that was very significant, which no one else had diagnosed, all because she took the time to really examine him, as she does with all her patients. I do highly recommend Deborah for people of all ages!

Deborah Loewer is a fabulous health care provider! Her medical knowledge is amazing but she is not ego-driven like so many primary care providers and, therefore, never hesitates to refer me to specialists when appropriate. Her caring 'bedside manner' is another quality I especially appreciate. She also hires great people, most of whom have been with her for years despite the stresses of a busy practice. I cannot recommend Deborah Loewer highly enough.

I have been seeing Deborah for almost 9 years now. She is warm and caring, she is intelligent and knows her stuff, and she always takes good care of me (as well as always remembers personal details of my life). She is always good for hug when you need one. She is also a wonderful listener. Of all of my interactions with medical professionals, she has been the best by far.

Front desk person is not easy to speak with on the phone to schedule with or to get past in order to speak by phone to a nurse about a specific problem. Nurses are mostly competent. Deborah is awesome. Wish her reception person was as well.
