This is the second time we have seen Debbie, I remembered her as she did us. I wish she was local, she listens and is very informative and kind.

My initial appt with her went okay. I did feel a little rushed and not really heard, almost like when I tried to discuss what I researched, it was shut down because she is the expert. I think her bedside manner could be better. I am just starting out with hormone therapy so there is a lot to learn and I want to work with someone I feel comfortable with. I will continue to see her for now, but if I feel that my issues are not being addressed, I will have no problem finding another specialist, because I feel as though your concerns should be addressed in a manner that shows concern.

Excellent clinician. Listens well, performs thorough assessment, asks detailed questions. Treatment with P.A. Helms has significantly improved my quality of life.

I felt like she wasn't listening to me. She put me on some meds that caused me to have a skin rash. When I showed her the rash and asked could she put me on something else, she acted like I had offended her, she did not change the meds but only upped the dosage. Plus the meds she offers has to be specially mixed by only a few drug stores and insurance pays for none of it.
