Deborah Flynn-Capalbo, LPN

She complained about her coworkers and supervisor and even other clients during our sessions. She canceled at the last minute, multiple times, claiming a crisis with one of her aggrieved patients. She often discussed her own family and marital problems. I assumed she was friendly. Our sessions were mostly on the phone, as she is scared of COVID. She often called from her car and would stop at fast food drive through during a session, I would hear her ordering. Finally she just disappeared. We had a scheduled session and she didn’t respond. I texted, called, emailed and called this office where she was employed. The office had no idea what happened to her, and as far as they knew she was still working with them. I asked the supervisor weeks later and he still had not heard from her. While he did refer me to a new counselor, he did not address the abandonment issue, at all. This is client abandonment on Deborah Flynn Capalbo’s part. Also grossly unethical and unprofessional overall.
