Deanna Benner, LCSW

Deanna is a very empathetic and personable therapist. She made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable from the start. I was recommended her by a friend and went because I saw how much she positively impacted them and I can say she has done the same for myself. She is a very warm individual that is always willing to help.

If your tired of telling your story over and over like I was and ready to really get to the root of your issues then Mrs. Benner is the way to go. I suffered years of child abuse and I was medically discharged from the USAF for PTSD I was done with therapy but Mrs. Benner is no ordinary therapist to be perfectly honest I didn’t like her at first I thought she was rude and too direct but I felt like maybe she could use another chance and here I am 4 years later not able to go one week without her! She has helped me more than anyone has ever been able to help me and that’s because she takes away all the nonsense and gets right to the point she doesn’t want to just treat you she wants to give you answers and solutions. I moved to TX and for almost two years I couldn’t find anyone and on a few separate occasions I called Mrs. Benner and told her I was in crisis she dropped everything and talked me through it on the spot. She goes above and beyond for her patients I’m glad I found her!

Same experiences for me. I found her rude, uncaring and unreachable. And frankly she is not very knowledgeable in the areas she professes to be. Makes one wonder about her education. How did she get even one degree in social work. Since then I have found an awesome therapist. Highly intelligent, emphatic and not one nasty remark. Only said with much care and compassion. This new therapist is a REAL one, not just one who claims the classes she took says she is. I recommend you pass on Mrs. Benner.

Deanna Benner, is an amazing therapist. I can’t say enough positive things about her and the treatment she provides. After so many years of therapy, with failed results, a friend suggested Deanna to me.  One of the best moments in my life. She is caring, a great listener, attentive, and overall she makes you feel comfortable to talk about whatever is bothering you.
