I was so excited to find care locally, but that was short lived. I had blood work drawn at my appointment and it was sent to a lab that is not in network with my insurance. I just received a bill for almost $600!! When I called, I was told that I should have specified where to send my lab work. She said it was not their responsibility and they had no idea what labs were covered with my insurance. Then she asked what insurance I had and she was able to tell me EXACTLY what labs would have been covered. I canceled my appointment and won't be back. I need a provider that actually understands and looks out for their patients. Sending my lab work to a non-network lab and then saying it was my fault is NOT professional or the kind of place that I trust for my medical care.

Deanna is one of the kindness, most selfless, empathetic, intelligent providers I have ever interacted with, whether on a patient level or a health care professional level. She takes the time to genuinely listen to what you have to say, unbiasedly addresses concerns you have and collaborates with you in an empowering manner so that you two can create a plan of care together for treatment. Deanna is easy to talk to and approachable. There may be a longer waiting time due to her choosing quality care during each patient interaction vs a focus on meeting a quota/quantity of patients she has to see, but she and her team have stayed well past their closing hours in order to effectively get things properly completed. (So, time management would be the only negative, but good things are worth waiting for.) You won't feel rushed when you interact with her like some other providers tend to do, because she genuinely cares about you as a whole person and she respects each individual's needs.

She listens, but looks at all the information. She catches what others miss. Thank heavens!
