She was pathetic a joke and by no means should be in any way shape or form counseling kids and trying to better them and their families because she fails... she is one of the main reasons of why I have not seen or talked to my kids and almost eight years since the passing of my kids mother

Court ordered to do reintegration therapy. Scheduled 1 appointment listened to me child talk about obvious signs of parental alienation then would not respond to any phone calls or emails. She was court ordered and had not a care to actually help our family.

She has her own agenda and refuse to assess an actual plan for my child. Refuses to communicate what's going on with my minor child and when she responds its vague and never specific. SHE CAN'T EVEN HANDLE HER OWN LIFE AND SHE IS A SKAM!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER THERAPIST

Dawn is perpetuating abuse within family dynamics by indulging and promoting false recovered memories of sexual abuse. This is in no way beneficial for the children caught up as pawns in their parents' dysfunctional dynamics — and she fails to recognize her part in perpetuating such abuse. She is easily manipulated by deviant personalities and lacks discernment in such a crucial area. This said, her disillusioned patients like her because they can use her as a legal weapon. Be warned!

Dawn Wake is not qualified or experienced to counselor families or children, I strongly suggest seeking genuine assistance elsewhere.

Don't waste your time. Find someone who is actually capable of being an advocate for your child. Dawn talks in circles, never making a point you can remember. She never once came to our team meetings and when I was told it was up to.my Childs therapist, Dawn would pretend like she had no idea why they would say its up to her and deny that it was her place to make a judgement call. In conclusion, I will say that she is a play therapist and has a lot of toys for the kids to play with.

I'm finding myself questioning the intentions of these low starred reviews. I have been taking my child to see Dawn Wake for a couple of years now. She has been nothing but extremely helpful to my child and myself as we navigate the waters that brought us to seek her kind of professional help. I HAVE recommended her to some of my friends who were looking for a good therapist for their child. If you are looking for someone to serve and protect the best interests of your child, look no further.
