Dawn Ngo, PA-C

I feel very disheartened after seeing Dawn. She did not listen to what was saying, and she got increasingly frustrated at me the more I tried to explain it. She kept saying that I didn’t want to do what she was suggesting, which was not true! I simply asked more questions around what she was suggesting because I didn’t understand it, and she took that as non compliance. She rolled her eyes and disregarded all of the points I made about being in pain, not being able to eat, and rapidly losing weight. She told me I was having problems bc of a medication that I had already stopped, even though my symptoms keep getting worse and worse after stopping the medication. She said there was no point in running several tests because this medicine is still in my system. I asked her how long the medicine would be in my system for, and she seems personally offended that I asked, and said she doesn’t know.Don’t waste your time or money seeing her!

I have met with Dawn several times. She is friendly and easy to get an appointment with. She spends as much time with me as I need, answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I am very pleased with her skill and her level of attention.

She was aggressive and unprepared. She started suggesting treatments and additional diagnostic procedures before she had fully read the file (which showed that many of the diagnostic procedures had ALREADY been done). She got more aggressive when she was asked questions, or challenged with information from previous doctors or tests. Find someone else.

* She is inconsistent in that she gave advice at earlier visits that she said were completely wrong at later visits. This happened 3 times, which made my visits both ineffective and frustrating. * She is condescending in that she talks to me and touches me as if I were a 5-year-old child. It's just off putting. * She does not listen. I tried to tell her something 5 times on the last visit, and she interrupted 4 times before she acknowledged that my point changed everything.

Doctor Ngo is not an aggressive doctor. I have a rarer disease and my circumstances were a little unique. I needed a doctor with a drive to solve my problems. Dawn was complacent to use medicine to subdue my symptoms and not find or solve the real problems. Dawn often did not understand or fully answer my questions. When I tried to expand my question, she would only continue to talk about the previous idea and not listen to my questions. The office is also horrible and does not do their job.

Does not listen and is quick to prescribe new medication and colonoscopies without proper investigation or even simply asking questions to understand what is going on. I personally do not feel that she is a good provider, if you are actually needing help I DO NOT recommend seeing her.

Dawn is kind and very thoro, she investigated so thoro'ly my wife's condition, found things the past gastrologist in Provo missed. We are grateful to her thorough manner
