Dr. Abrantes provides specific and relevant counseling in safe, calm, comfortable space. She listens in an approachable, non-judgmental manner, giving me the confidence to share issues for her to address. Dr. Abrantes encouraged the coping skills I do have, while giving a fresh perspective for moving forward.

Dr. Abrantes is such a blessing to our Grandchildren, she was able to open up the frustrations and the problems they were having now my granddaughter and grandson smiling again and not scared to speak about problems they were having, now they are ready and argue of who will see her first. If anyone is looking for a counselor that can communicate with their children or even if its yourself,she is the one to see. Thank you Dawn Abrantes for giving the smiles back. I would give her 10 stars .

Dawn is very knowledgeable and well versed. She understands life, can be objective and never makes me feel like I'm being judged. She's blunt when needed which I think is an awesome characteristic for a counselor. Above all, she really cares about her patients and their well being.
