David Mintz, LPC

My second and last time attending a session with this therapist. I did NOT feel comfortable talking to him at all. It seemed as most of the session is him validating his credentials with me. I would rather continue taking the med instead of talking to him. I really felt like I wasn't heard and I felt like he was a bit forgetful. I made an in-person appointment NOT a Telehealth. Just proves to me that his communication with staff is poor. Also there were a couple of things that I did find offensive to my race. No, I will NOT be returning AND I will NOT recommend him to anyone!

I’ve made more progress with Mr. Mintz in three hours than I have the past 5 years with other therapists. At first, I wasn’t sure David was for me - but I knew I needed something different than what I had tried before. I am so glad I scheduled that 2nd appointment. He is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend David Mintz enough.

I made the horrific mistake of taking my 16 year old son to see David Mintz. He explained that what was discussed between him and my minor son would be confidential. I understood that David and I would have an open line of communication. This did not happen. After my son was in David’s care his mood deteriorated and I became a villain. In an attempt to get into solution the three of us met together where David quickly learned that he was only getting half of the story. David also confessed his complete lack of knowledge in regards to medication and the many illnesses that both my son and I endure. I lost my son. At 17 David convinced my disabled son to move in with his father. A toxic person. Do NOT send your loved one to this man. I am doing my best to work through my deep regret. I have no idea why my son will not speak with me. David did not teach my son how to communicate. David never responded to my multiple phone and e-mail communications. Avoid this person!
