Incredibly helpful if you're ready to grow. Great sense of humor (which is helpful you cope with humor), smart, ready to help you live better, grow, & get rid of some baggage. I prefer to few friends to him. Overall he's been helpful with any marriage issue, friendship issues, & family relationships. Very grateful. He's the perfect fit for us.

In addition to being supportive and helpful, Darren takes the time to educate me about how my thoughts and emotions work so that i can have the tools needed to cope with my own problems in the future. I feel like I've worked through a lot of my issues during our sessions and I've also used the knowledge he's shared with me to work on them in the intervals between visits.

Darren is a no BS counselor. He isn't the kind to "mamby-pamby" you through an issue. He is straightforward, honest and direct. Either you want to do the work, or you don't. I absolutely love his approach and he has proven to be one of the best counselors I have ever had.

Very bad experience. Mr Smith was highly confrontational and most sessions were spent arguing. He refused to provide additional information about his treatment methods. Refused to set any goals for treatment. When asked for help on a specific issue, his response was "I am not going to tell you how to deal with that. You will have to learn for yourself. You wouldn't appreciate the answer if I gave it to you." No solutions and therapy quickly became a hostile experience.
