Darcy Donnelly

I met Dr. Donnelly November 2021 after discovering the worst, heartbreaking, betrayal. Dr. Donnelly could not have been more supportive and a champion of my sanity, well-being and integrity. I know I was heard. She’s so empathic and positive, but not in a cheerleader way. She gave me hope and strategies that really helped alleviate my symptoms. I’m telling you it was life changing. We actually did all of our work through zoom, which, for me was a relief. Many times I did not feel like leaving my home, let alone making myself presentable, driving, parking, etc. She so generously worked with me through all my stages. There were so many times I felt blessed, knowing she was there for me. I’m at the other end of all this now. It’s February 2023. I am so relieved and so grateful. I never leave reviews but I wanted to take the time to share my experience in hopes that I can help someone who is hesitant about going to therapy like I was. You see I am a very private person and have always struggled with trusting people. It is difficult for me to let my guard down, especially when it comes to asking for help no matter how bad I may need it. Then A few years ago I was at a very low point in my life, I didn’t know what to do or how to deal with what I was feeling. It got to the point where I stopped caring about anything and gave up on the belief that I could ever be happy. For months a good friend of mine kept pushing me to seek help, until I finally gave in because I figured I had nothing else to lose. Although, I was still extremely skeptical and had gone in with the notion that therapy was not going to help me, and was a waste of time I am happy to say that I was wrong. Seeing Dr. Donnelly has been the best decision I have ever made!
