Dr. Darci Stotts, DC

I will say this: Dr. Stotts and her staff were very friendly. However, I feel like Dr. Stotts used some fear- mongering techniques. I came in with lower back pain. After waiting for 1.5 hours in the the waiting room, she gave me an x-ray and then told me to come back in 3 hours. When I came back, she diagnosed me with degenerative disk disease. Obviously, this is a scary prognosis, and I was in a lot of pain and wanted to begin treatment. She would not touch me or give me any adjustment until I paid for my treatment plan (which was a minimum down payment of $800). l asked if I could pay for a one time treatment, and if I liked the results from the first, I would pay for the entire treatment. She really tried to sway me saying "nothing would work unless I followed through with my full treatment plan". After getting a 2nd (and 3rd) opinion from my PCP and another chiropractor in town, they found that I had no more than a bone spur. Just get another opinion before you spend tons of money.
