I had a great professional visit with Danielle. She was extremely thorough and was able to keep me calm and relaxed during a tense situation with her friendly and caring way. She explained what she was doing before and afterwards if I had further questions. I highly recommend her based on the care I received.

This nurse denied my request for Rx renewal while my primary care doctor was away on vacation. Apparently, I needed to perform some lab work in order to have the Rx approved. No one said anything about lab work during my office visit a month before. I told her that this is the first time I heard about this, so I asked her to approve my renewal and condition my next renewal on lab work. This would give me time to schedule and provide the lab work, and I wouldn't miss my medication. She denied me again, saying my request is against 'protocol.' This is the most unreasonable person I've ever encountered in healthcare. Stay away from the UCSD office in hillcrest
