Professionally Effective & Affective
After seeing 3 other therapists and feeling frustrated by their failure to make me feel heard, disheartened with the field, I decided to give it one more try with Dr Remillard…. almost 20 years later he still treats me with the professionalism and thoughtfulness of day one. His treatment evolves and maneuvers with my needs. He is ever aware of my mood whether on display or hidden. It’s very important to feel a good fit with your therapist, and I would, and have, recommended Dr Remillard to others including my own children in hopes they would have a similar experience to my own with him. I have all the trust in the world in his practice after having seen it in action for multiple decades. He helped me save my children’s mother…. He makes me feel capable of overcoming my struggles and when I falter, he’s the buoy I look for when I’m drowning. Thank you Dr Remillard!

Hero for CPTSD
I've been seeing Dr. Remillard for 10 years for CPTSD like symptoms from childhood trauma. Started seeing him in high school when I had no healthy or reliable adults in my life to help me & didn't know how to heal. I ran the gamut of child counselors in middle school & then some sub-par counselors to no avail. Dr. Remillard has always been professional, respectful, and accommodating. If you hit a rough patch he does what he can to get you in early. Above all his approach is solution oriented which helped me build a solid foundation and principles to structure my life. Before I used to anxiously wait for our next session but now there's barely anything to work on. I don't know where I'd be without him but it wouldn't be anywhere good. As someone who cares deeply about doctor reviews I hope you find this helpful.

Wonderful therapist
After Dr. Remillard's 30+ years of clinical psychology practice, he has proven to be an informative, resolute, and caring therapist over the last 3-4 years I have been under his counseling. He cares and states the importance of establishing a relationship with his patients and getting to know and understand them to provide the utmost care in their lives. For example, He has helped me comprehend my self-worth and ability to change myself to accomplish the goals I set for myself getting through college and providing stability for myself through intense family situations. Overall, I would recommend him to anyone for their intrapersonal issues that must be overcome for a more fulfilling life.

talked about his busted hip including standing up to show me, made fun of the patient next door for crying; saying "she's like this every time", commented on my looks (as an insult, stating no one would know I'm 35 with a huge eye roll- had pink hair at the time), insulted my husband saying he sounds "accommodating" with his signature eyeyroll, for helping me with rides (I'm disabled), I once had to print my records for disability and had the envelope with me - he angerily pressed me over and over "what's in the envelope", when I finally told him it's my records he would not shut up about how he doesn't really keep records so I don't need them- actually aggressive at this point. Stared at his computer for several minutes while I tried to speak until I gave up and left the appointment- did this a couple times. I only saw him a handful of times before I just couldn't go back. He was THAT bad and insulted me THAT many times in only a handful of appointments. I have no idea how thi
