Daniel McGrath, MFT

Daniel visits with my nieces who are going through a difficult time visiting their father who is divorced from their mother. His therapy has done much to help the girls deal with the emotional abuse their father inflicts on them during visits with him. Daniel is kind, conscientious and genuinely concerned about my nieces well being. I’m grateful for his kindness in working with the two girls.

Our friends have told us that Daniel has been so supportive of them! Highly recommended!

Daniel McGrath is a wonderful and an extremely effective therapist. He is intelligent, kind and courageous! You can not find any better therapist if you want an effective advocate and therapist for yourself, your child or a loved one. He really stands above the rest.

"Dr. Daniel" as he is known by my granddaughters, has been seeing my daughter and her children for several years. He is a "stand up " guy. Has been invaluable to their welfare and safety. I trust him. I trust his insight. I would highly suggest using His services.

I can't express enough gratitude for the amount of help and support Dr. McGrath has given my family over the years. He is honest, knowledgeable, professional, he's a great communicator, healer and compassionate listener. His sole purpose is the emotional and mental health of his clients, and I feel that he accomplishes just that. He is extremely generous with his time, and is flexible enough with scheduling to always find time for us. When something arises we often say within our family "What would Daniel Say/Do in this situation?" and it helps us to think more clearly about a healthy response. Daniel is great! He has been extremely helpful for me and my family for almost 4 years. He is very chill, very knowledgeable about different personality types, mental illnesses and how to handle the effects of them, and how to effectively cope with all that life has thrown at us! If I could give him more stars I would!

He is always on time, always spends extra time with me and always makes himself available even in short notice. Trustworthy is the most important reason I went to him. He does not reserve his medical opinion to me, and always provide thoughtful suggestions. I highly recommend Daniel.

McGrath has a very basic understanding of complex relationships, multidimensional people, and our interconnected lives. He’s quick to judge, and even faster at sitting back and curtly offering his opinions, informed by his social work education. He bragged about his candedness and said ‘Many people have walked out of my office immediately after I tell them what I think’. Maybe that means you should change your approach? He was not helpful and unfortunately not self reflective enough to improve.

Daniel has been a critical part of our family's health for the past 5 years, He has helped us with some very stressful family issues, throughout with compassion, knowledge and suggestions that are always offered in an useful and comfortable manner. He has really been an incredible resource and sounding board for our family's experiences and expectations. Splendid professionalism. I cannot recommend him highly enough for a productive, trustworthy theraputic environment.

My sons have been seeing Mr. D (as they like to call him) for the past few years, and he’s been nothing short of a blessing to them. He knows exactly how to interact with kids, and make them feel comfortable expressing themselves. I’ve even recommended him to several friends, because I trust him and know my kids are in great hands. He provides knowledge and a perspective that teaches both the child and the parent great skills to use at home. I am so happy to have my children in his care.

Dan McGrath has been my therapist for over five years. He has helped guide my family through a difficult and combative divorce and the challenges associated with raising four kids. He is gentle and direct in his approaches and is quick to discover the issues and solutions. I have no doubt that many of the reasons that I have been able to navigate so many tough waters can be attributed to having Daniel as my therapist.

We love Mr. Daniel!! I've been seeing and bringing my kids to him for almost 2 yrs and first of all, he's so funny and good with my kids, they love him! Secondly, he's helped us through an extremely rough custody battle, learn how to best be there for my kids throughout it all, and continues to give me tools to help my kids flourish. I have already, and will forever recommend him!

I have been seeing Dan for several years, and he has been very helpful though some tough times in my life. He's in a great location, has great schedule flexibility, and has helped me a ton with my own issues, great suggestions on parenting, blending families, etc. Could not recommend him more!
