I'd been seeing Connie for awhile. More than a year. During that time, I'd told her about workplace bullying that had been happening to me, which had been overlooked by my employer. Towards the end of last summer, the abuse had escalated, and my boss had framed ME as the abuser. She and my bully had teamed up against me. I was worried about losing my job and was seeking legal advice. Well, Connie was insensitive, patronizing, and rude. She told me I was being "sensitive," which is not a word one uses for one's clients, especially those who have been abused. She said the abuse, which was causing me to throw up before work, was "grade school BS," only she said the entire profanity. I was devastated, but luckily, I pulled myself out of it. I will never see Connie again. For someone who claims to have read Carl Rogers, she certainly doesn't understand how a healing relationship works, as she has no respect for her clients. Because of her, I am never going to another therapist again.
