Colleen Beckler is a nurse, not a doctor at the NWH Kaplan Joint Center and so I am not entirely sure why she was the only person who advised regarding my severe right knee and hip pain. She has absolutely no empathy and I am still in extreme pain after seeing her Feb 5, 2025. It took two whole months to book an appointment with Christopher Melnic but I never saw him - he was off limits . MRI on Feb 13 and call from Ms Beckler on Feb 14 (working remotely at home!!!). Advised me to walk with ski poles and no other advice. I called back after the weekend as I was in extreme pain and she mentioned that it may have to do with my hip - mentioned torn hip labrum but did not advise of a treatment or what to do about it. I had to ask and she said to contact a sports doctor. I do not recommend her or the Kaplan Joint Center. Stay away from both. They will not help you.
