I was her patient for about 9 months, and not once did I feel that she actually listened to, understood, or cared to listen to or understand what I was saying. Her most common form of feedback was to ask me how to solve my own problems. Her second most common form of feedback was to seize upon any admission of guilt, fault, or self-deprecating talk and use that to insult and belittle me. She also, with a completely sincere face, told me that she believed it was possible to become immortal--literally immortal--through diet and exercise. Avoid.

Copying my review from google: She is one of the most professional and frank counselors that I have worked with. She helps you to help yourself. She is responsible and resourceful with customizing a treatment plan that caters to your needs. The entire office space is calming, soothing, and inviting which reflects her personality.

Contacted Coleen Owens because she seemed like a good fit for the help I was looking for personally. She emailed once saying she was running to lunch but would get back with me for appointment times next week and she never emailed me back. One piece of advice, for the people seeking help do not keep them waiting when you say something. It doesn't help with the already existing anxiety about whatever they are seeking help with.
