What a joke!
I was told to participate in a progress panel. I met with all the therapist and wasn't told not all the therapists took my insurance so I ended up paying out of pocket! I was told I need to pick a therapist after the doing this then he got rid of the therapist I picked. It was a waste of my time and money!! All he said is I could set up a payment plan when I shouldn't have paid at all. I had insurance!!

I work in social work and have an eye for trauma informed, respectful care. I had an awful experience with Cliff. He was extremely unprofessional. He billed my credit card randomly almost a full year after seeing me knowing that my bill was to be billed through other means. He also said he wouldn’t see me for an appointment until I filled out a bunch of time consuming paperwork that ultimately was for nothing. He told me I wasn’t moving fast enough with the paperwork despite the fact that I was working two jobs, moving and being hired onto a third job. He informed me he would contact me after I turned in the paperwork but I heard nothing. I got a call 5 months later about scheduling an appointment. Seriously that long and didn’t act like they had totally blown me off. I could go on but this guy has already wasted so much of my time. Save yourself and go to another therapist. He also makes comments that are judgmental. Lacked trauma informed care. He was inappropriate in session also.

Friendly but Unprofessional
Cliff is a friendly guy that utilizes a lot of powerful techniques in his trauma therapy sessions. He is a charismatic and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, Cliff's friendliness does not compensate for his lack of punctuality or unprofessionalism. Cliff openly states on his website that he wants to work with people who have had trouble with other counselors. However, many issues I have had with previous counselors were only reiterated after I contacted to schedule with him. I was initially told that my insurance would cover my meetings with Cliff. This proved to be entirely inaccurate. Cliff worked with me to get me into his office, which I appreciated, until he showed up over 20 minutes late to our session. Cliff also seems to only want to talk about what he wants to talk about. He will rudely cut you off, make unwanted comments about your personal life, and is fairly presumptuous in his personal assessments. Cliff has a lot of potential but has plenty of room for improvement.
