Dr. Clifford Wood, OD

My husband and I have both been using Dr. Wood for several years. He has given us great service His assistant, Freda, has always gone out of her way to get us appointments, calls back when we leave a message, gets forms we need signed, etc. She is also friendly, but very busy as she wears several hats there. He and Freda should not be confused with the opticians that work beside him, though we've had good experiences with them as well. Our only regret is that Dr. Wood does not work more days but I don't think that is his choice. He has referred me for cataract evaluation to a great doctor, tweaked prescriptions again and again until he felt he got my best vision.He has become a friend. He is quiet and serious, but not unfriendly by any means. I recommend him.

This Doctor works at Sams Cub 2 days a week and at Sams Club he/they will not provide the patient with their (PD) pupillary Distance after the exam. It is needed to buy glasses if you want to go anywhere else or order online. This is a very poor patient practice and actually a patient disservice. I would not have expected that from a Doctor service at a Sams Club.
