Went for relationship counseling between my mother and I. She also saw us individually and was biased and would tell me "It's none of your business" to shut me down from talking about issues my mother didn't want to talk about. I finally said i would not come to any more sections if she was going to overstep her role and shut me down for my mother's benefit. Then I was able to talk about how things went down and it resolve a deep issue that needed addressing. There were other issues too.
