Claire should lose her license and everyone she has hurt along the way should file complaints with the licensing board. She should be held accountable for all of the damage she has caused to children and families while providing her so called "therapy". If Claire had a conscience she would stop providing services immediately and seek a new profession where she can no longer damage children and families. Claire gets off on feeling superior to others and does not care who she is hurting. There are plenty of other truly qualified professionals in the area to choose from who are not as fake, vain, superficial, self serving, self righteous, ignorant, or reckless as Claire is. BEWARE!

Thank you for your excellent guidance and thoughtful responses. I referred another family to Claire and they appreciate all that she has done to support their high school student with anxiety, gender identity and depression. You can not go wrong working with her- especially gofted with teens.

Today morning our son received his acceptance letter to a fine university! He was doing badly in school and even the after school tutoring program could not help him. Our therapist turned his life around and now he has a fine future. Yes, we worked as a family also, but this is good. Claire Burke Chinn has fine skills and we will recommend her to our friends.

She was nice but seems extremely unqualified to dole out any kind of therapy or advice. Like someone before me said, more like a friend's mom giving advice. She can't seem to get into deeper issues at all and is very superficial. I wonder how people like these get their degrees to become therapists. Stay away.

Like the other reviews here, I found her to be very immature. She has strange views on gender roles. She has an odd viewpoint on money. She can't stop sharing her opinion on anything even if it's wrong or uninvited. Poor boundaries. She's really hard on parents and very aggressive in her views. She's really feels like she is right and you are wrong and she's going to tell you as often as she can and she'll do it in front of your kids.

My experience with her was terrible. She is completely clueless, uneducated, and practices therapy beyond the boundaries of her professional competence. She did tremendous damage to my daughters through her quack therapy. I would stay as far away from her as possible and definitely wouldn't give her a penny for her services at this point. She is not only unethical but she is extremely biased against fathers. She gives therapists a bad name and is a disgrace to the profession.
