Was on certain medications for over 15 years. A previous provider in the same system warned me about staying I the Unity Point system because of their horrible practices and policies yet I decided to try this provider out. Granted, what I’m about to tell you is more unity point’s serious problems vs NP Pontious’ regardless she chooses to follow them which makes her just as liable. As I stated before I was on certain medications for 15 years and my previous provider quit UPH due to their awful patient care policies and procedures. I went with the person they delegated to take over her patients and was informed I was to be seen every 3 months otherwise my meds would not be renewed. They’re true to their word but the horrible thing is due to their scheduling policies you cannot schedule through their “MyChart” system (unlike every other service in UPHs umbrella) you must CALL to make an appointment. Well after being on hold for over 20 min...I gave up
