Pompous and evasive
Dr. Kilgore did my total knee replacement surgery, assited by his PA. Chris Edelman. Unfortunately, if I am to believe Chris, he did a good part of the surgery. He was very proud of himself. I was led to believe before the surgery that the doctor was the only one who did the surgery. When I asked a question, Chris (who did ALL the post surgical appointments) would lean back in his chair, grin, and then most of his answers indicated to me that he thought I was asking a stupid question. When I complained about serious nerve pain around my knee he said it was because I had a low pain tolerance. He said nothing they did in the surgery would have caused me this pain. TKR does cause nerve pain. All I wanted to know was what to do about it and he was dismissive.

Very knowledgeable and friendly
Dr. Kilgore is doing a total knee replacement on Sept. 21, and I was scheduled to see Chris Edelman PA-C before the surgery. I found Chris to be very friendly and knowledgeable about the procedure and he gave me straight answers as what to expect before, during, and after surgery…I must say after seeing Chris and the way he explained things honestly to me he put my mind at ease as the surgery date nears and he made me feel very comfortable.

In too much of a hurry.
Rushed in after making us wait for an hour. Spent 3 minutes. Said typical knee surgery things, which were inappropriate considering there were complications involved. Clearly didn't read the file or have any idea who he was talking to.
