Terrible
Awful bedside manners. Very rude. Canceled several times. Must have forgot she was in the business to help people. Don’t waste your energy. Clearly overwhelmed, contact another doctor.

I've been following Christine Stamatos about 20 years now. She is amazing!! Christine Stamatos found multiple serious issues with me that other doctors did not find. Christine Stamatos is caring, knowledgeable and is always there for me when my body is failing. I highly recommend Christine Stamatos.

My visit was awful. I left the office in tears because of Christine Stamatos. I saw her in the Great Neck office. She is tough, rough, rude, and NO bedside manners. She made fun of my hands for being too small, told me that I should be done grieving since my mom passed away THREE MONTHS AGO, told me to get a job, asked how I support myself if I don’t work, asked me if I had a boyfriend or girlfriend, then told me I need a social life. She also huffed and puffed and said, “you’re... interesting” (It wasn’t in a good way).. and then she said something like, I’ve gone over my time limit with you. Do not see her. There are so many Rheumatologist out there!

Never Told me that she thinks my symptoms were due to anxiety . Psychological . Until blood work proved otherwise then backpeddled. After two visits doesn’t have diagnosis but gives up telling me “let’s choke this up to fibromyalgia “ and tries to give me script . No intentions of helping me get to the bottom of what my autoimmune disease is . Too busy . Very rude . Almost laughing when I wouldn’t accept her expertise. Worst doctor I ever met in 43 years of my life !

Dr. Stamatos provided excellent care. She explained my condition and went out of her way to discuss treatment options. I did not feel rushed as I do with most doctors. Highly recommended. I can't wait for my next appointment!

Christine Stamatos is without a doubt the best practitioner I have ever gone to. She is an excellent diagnostician, she knows the best treatments, and when she refers you to another doctor for any reason, she has the best resources available to her who also know her and with whom she stays in contact with about you. I have often said I wish that she could be my primary care provider for everything, but alas, she is a specialist. I have been going to her for years.
