Not the provider you want taking care of you or your family, especially in the neurosurgery setting. She repeatedly refused to clarify her role on the team, and presented herself as a doctor although she is a nurse practitioner. Her demeanor was condescending and belittling towards my family and she refused to communicate some of my concerns to my surgeon, insisting on addressing them herself because she was "just as much a part of the medical team." In one instance during morning rounds, she cut off a question from my family, insisting it "wasn't important," only to have the attending physician jump in and clarify that it was - this information that my family provided actually went on to change the course of my care! Christina, or "Tini," as she goes by, continued to cut off and dismiss my family's concerns, especially when she rounded on me by herself.
