Doesn't listen and just fat shames
Small town so chose this doc for me and my kid. I've been fat for years due to medical conditions. My first time meeting her was about sleep problems and mental health. I told her I have allergies and have to take allergy meds per my allergist for the past 10 years. Instead she put 'long term drug use' on my medical records about my allergy pills. Did the same to my son who has oak and grass pollen allergies. That makes us look like drug addicts. And then 'counseled' me on weight and eating fried foods and sodas. Umm ok? I eat veggies daily and have a ginger ale on occasion. She also said I should exercise more. Ok, I have 4 dogs and I walk them for over an hour every day. But I must be a lazy person who just eats chicken nuggets. It's not my body doing weird things at all... Not happy and I will drive over 30 minutes away to see someone else. Also changing my son's doctor too.
