Dr. Christiane Creveling-Benefield, PHD

I have been asking for help for the past 5 years for my kids and no one would take them due to age. FINALLY we were referred to Dr. Creveling and I couldnt be more thankful for what she has done for me and my family with mindful parenting. Something that seems so simple that could be so life changing. The way you think and the way you react to things can make a huge difference on outcome of a situation. She has taught me to be so much more mindful and now I am able to actually ENJOY my kids, rather than stressing out over what they are not doing right. Something as simple as 'Go clean your room', are you sure your child knows what you expect of them by cleaning their room? Mine did not. We not have charts and more positive reinforcement that helps them WANT to do better. I will forever be grateful for everything Dr. Creveling has did for us. I just wish found her sooner. She is the BEST!!!

Dr Creveling-Benefield went out of her way to help and ensure our child got thr help he needed from our school district providing the proper test and diagnosis! She even took the time to call and ensure we understood what the process was for our sons IEP.

I found Dr. Creveling through Psychology Today. Her bio seemed perfect for me. I struggle with test anxiety. I thought that she would be able to help me. I went in Nov 4, 2019. We talked for about an hour. She did say that she didn't think she would be able to help me but referred someone. She also made me take an evaluation with 400+ questions that cost $90. She said that she would get back with me, schedule an appointment and review my results around Thanksgiving week. This NEVER happened. I called her and emailed her to schedule an appointment. Also, when I called her to let her know the person she referred me wasn't taking new patients who else does she recommend, she never got back to me. I have called multiple times and left many messages. It has been over 2 months and this lady has yet to return my phone calls or my $90. She has extremely unprofessional. I do not trust her nor recommend her to anyone. I do not have $90 to blow and she took it! She did not help me at all.

I have to say until I met Dr. Creveling-Benefield, I had lost all hope for my son. She and her staff have been so great in trying to help us. She truly cares about her patient's. I have a question and she answers. I truly am grateful for her.

This office took hundreds from us, promising that they would "repay" us.. Even our insurance company cannot figure it out, as we are only supposed to have a small copay! Referrals to schools were never sent in on time. Lastly, they never would call my child by his name, but some generic "pet" name. They are quick to invite you in for an appt. (so they can grab your $), but never return calls for anything else. I have never had such a bad experience with a Doctor's office.

I along with my family are so grateful for Dr. C-Benefield. She gave us and our family member the tools needed to overcome challenging obstacles. She is caring, patient, understanding, and very informative. She is highly recommended.

I had an opposite experience with Dr. Creveling as did the other review here. She seemed very empathetic to my issues but rightly pointed out things that I needed to work on with myself and how I contributed to my problems. She was very knowledgeable and experienced with treating my issues and showed compassion and sensitivity to my feelings.
