We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Just a really good therapist. Not stuffy, down to earth, very knowledgeable. Most of all helpful! The best I’ve seen.

Tried calling and was hung up on three times over a period of two weeks. Dr. O'Connor's young child answered the phone once and he said to just hang up. Very unprofessional. Never returned my calls either. If you're not accepting new patients, at least do us a favor in telling us so. Waste of time.

He does CBT well but does more than just focus on my thoughts like they do in the hospitals. He actually introduced me to Mindfulness and how to pay attention to what my body is telling me when I process past and present experiences. This has been most helpful. God knows I’ve had enough of the generic CBT/DBT stuff.

I am a vet and current office and read people well. I appreciate how Dr. O can take the lead but not in a way in which I feel controlled or that he is better than I am. He has helped me deal with the stress of my job. I see him more as a fellow officer who has my back but that I can also trust to step up and assist when need be.

Dr. O’Connor is very validating but he goes beyond just nodding his head and agreeing with everything that you say. He has aided me in working through the root of my problems but always in a supportive manner. I should mention I’ve seen many therapists over the years and he has been one of the best.

Dr. O is not your typical therapist. He never judges but instead invites you to share your experiences and then he really helps you! It is nice to talk with someone who makes a difference and cares.

Charles is the best therapist I have ever had. I was nervous to start with a new counselor but he made made me feel comfortable to the point that I’ve shared experiences I’ve never brought up before. He has helped me heal the deep wounds of my past and I feel stronger and more confident than ever before.

As a female therapist myself, I know good therapy from bad. Dr. O’Connor is clinically sharp and effective but never in a cold, overly clinical manner. He was able to tailor his approach to meet my needs. I found him to be very effective yet also extremely caring and compassionate.

×Post a ResponseAre you Charles O'Connor?
Dr. O'Connor is incompetent, immature, and creepy. He made me extremely physically uncomfortable in our last session but in our sessions before that, he had been late, made me feel self-conscious about my appearance, and did not seem to be capable of actually listening to me, only repeating the last few words I said and asking a general question about it. If you're a young woman, I'd advise against using his services.

Charles is very kind, intuitive, and supportive. He asks such good questions that I find myself seeing things in a fresh light. He really helps me get out of my own way and feel so much better about the ups and downs of life. I look forward to our visits and usually come away with lots to think about and, sometimes, a spring in my step. Charles genuinely cares. He will have your back and even make you laugh. I encourage you to give him a call and see if you feel the same
