I crashed my recumbent bicycle in March of 2014. I was in rehab for 5 weeks, had home PT for about 3-4 weeks and then I started working with Dr J. He is amazing. He worked me beyond what I thought I was capable of. I was riding a tadpole trike (recumbent) by mid-July, just a mile a day, but it was progress. By the following June I was bicycle touring again. I am now seeing Dr J for my scoliosis (unrelated to the hip fracture). He styles therapy to meet my specific needs. An athlete himself, J is empathetic towards his clients. J now has his own practice and he doesn't waste a minute of the time we are having a PT session. He gives me a home exercise program and I follow it daily. I've seen other physical therapists over the years for various injuries and J is by far the most thorough.
