Saw her for about six months to work through childhood/family issues and the fact that I was at that time in an abusive relationship. About three sessions in, she asked me if I drank. I said that I did, and she asked if I ever had more than two drinks in an evening. Of course I did, I'm a guy in my 20s. At which point she declared me an alcoholic. From then on, my sessions were focused on alcohol abuse and suggested constantly I need to go to AA - despite me pointing out that since she called me an alcoholic, I had stopped drinking. I even took a test with her - the results of which said I was not an alcoholic, and she accused me of lying about the answers. At no point did she seem to actually show any empathy to how I was feeling, or any attempt to work through problems - just a constant attempt to declare herself right. I assumed this was what therapy was about "tough love" but honestly, after a half year of getting nothing but accusations and demands, I gave up.

Worst. I'm 20 and in school at GWU. she told my mom who called for me that she doesn't see college aged people anymore because she isn't suited for it/lacks patience for young people or something like that. Rude and uncaring lady. So glad she didn't even want to see me as a client.

Her office is a pigsty and she plays favorites in groups. Never had issues with a therapist before. Unkind and blames being in a rush or blood sugar later. trust the reviews. How is she a therapist???

Horrendously rude and unprofessional. I don't see how she helps anyone. She freely admits she has no patience for most clients. Run!

She is awful - played phone tag for ages before first appointment, then diagnosed me over the phone, was incredibly rude when I couldn't find the building for my first visit (and then blamed it on low blood sugar), and her office is a pigsty where she brings her dog (of course with no heads up - what if I were allergic or afraid of dogs? Guess she doesn't care).
