I came to Charity as an individual and she was able to help me through a lot of guilt and shame I experienced with problems within my marriage. Charity was open, kind, and offered a lot of information that helped me work through understanding problems within communication with my partner. I am still seeing Charity and will continue to see Charity. I appreciate her flexibility and the way we are able to interact within sessions.

Charity was someone I felt like I can come to with real-life problems without judgement. She made time and space with my busy schedule to help. Charity is funny, down to earth, and has an abundance of expertise that makes me feel seen and heard. I continuously learn from her and feel like we are working towards a better tomorrow, together.

This was the absolute worst therapeutic experience I've ever had. I had couples therapy with Dr. Shaw-Moyado for a few months and found that, despite her cheerful exterior and a few tips or exercises, underneath all of that she was unempathetic, expressed favoritism, and displayed a complete inability for self-reflection or accountability. She consistently made me feel unimportant or disregarded and refused to offer anything resembling validation, reassurance, or any basic interest in understanding me. Even when expressing that her words and actions made it difficult for me to open up about feelings, she remained uncaring and quickly decided to drop us as clients rather than attempt to heal or repair. Dr. Shaw-Moyado is not a therapist. She is at best a coach. And not a very good one at that.
