Chantel Holz

My dad worked with and could not praise Chantel enough. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She got my dad to another hospital when the local one had wrote him off as terminal and too far gone. But she made sure we got to the right team. She is amazing and really cares about her patients. She did everything we asked of her and then some. The problem with the Black Hills is we have too many people that have problems we let get really bad before we go see anyone. Then we rush and sometimes it takes a lot longer than we would like for our doctors or nurses to get back to us. Not an excuse but I have had a hard time even getting a referral right now so I completely understand the frustration but I didn’t see any of these issues with Chantel.

Chantel is a wonderful care provider, absolutely second to none! She is extremely competent in her various fields of expertise. Recently I heard that she was leaving the clinical department she is working in. It's nothing short of upsetting, I certainly hope that they can find somebody to fill her shoes. I can't emphasize how awesome she is!

Chantel is an amazing provider. She is very thorough and takes time explaining everything. She helped me with something I struggled with for years and new right away what to do.

Took time to listen and answer all questions. Very complete work up and did amazing with treatment.

I have been a home health aid for 10 years now and I have worked directly with Doctors for my clients’ needs. In all my years of communicating with Doctors, working with Chantel has been the worst. When it takes 2 weeks to actually get a hold of the nurse ( not even Chantel, because she is too busy to care. I have actually never talked to Chantel over the phone) to just refill a prescription you know she does not care for her patients. My Grandma had to travel to a different state to get the care she required because Chantel never filled orders, prescriptions or even communicated with us once after my grandma’s surgery. I know there are not a lot of options in South Dakota, but I would tell anyone to travel to a different state before seeing Chantel.
