Discriminatory practice
This practice is contributing to medical disparities for black and brown men and women that lead to the most negative outcomes for marginalized populations. Despite being practitioners of color, their bedside manner and statements suggest their bias against adults of color being treated for ADHD. Dr. O’Connor repeatedly stated “I don’t prescribe stimulants” to a black male who was not seeking stimulants but was instead referred to her by a neuropsychologist to get help in any form for his DIAGNOSED and prevalent ADHD. She then proceeded to dismiss questions about side effects, contraindications, drug interactions and comparisons and symptoms. It was clear she was making negative assumptions when she expressed “that’s not how this works, you don’t ask me what difference you should feel”, “I don’t do stimulants”, and “this one is a controlled substance”. Attn Dr O’Connor, please note: all black men are NOT drug fiends and dealers. Check your internalized racism. Do better.

Rude & Dismissive
I was referred to Dr O Conner by a co-worker. I had a 8am appt. I wasn't called into her office until 9am. I was instructed by the front desk what exactly would I be discussing with Dr OConner so she could code my visit correctly. I was warned that I could NOT discuss anything other than what I told the receptionist which was : refill of my current meds, follow up on my high liver numbers & my recently expired FMLA paperwork. All things due to my previous PCP moving outside of my network. I was called back & shortly the dr came in & asked how could she help me. I AGAIN shared what I had written on the new patient paperwork & to the receptionist. I asked if there was a form I needed to sign for her to have access to my medical records and she said no need. She then proceeded to ask what liver problems was I having, why was I on FMLA, for Hypertension & she said how high & I said I don't know but I'm sure my medical records could tell you. She was so rude & dismissive...I left!

the staffs are not professional, and disrespectful as well as the doctor. i went to see the doctor to fill in my medications then i realize she fill like 8 or 7 out of may be 12-14 medications i called in one week like 3 times asking to refill the medications, the same nurse she doesnt really know what she needs to do and told me the doctor not will no sent any pre-authorization to my inssurance amd not dosnt want to refill my medicines. the funny thing is when i went to see dr occonor she doesnt even look at my list of mediciation and she doesnt even asked me what medication i want to refill so why after i left she is just want to deny and when i talked to the nurse she said just comeback to see her. so they just want the patient to make more appointment so wasting time. its hard to find proper parking for elderly and handicapped patients.

AMAZING as always - I am a patient of Dr. O'Connor for many many years now. I will not see another Dr unless its a specialist she has sent me to, or I'm in the hospital. Doc is awesome. Straight forward and no beating around the bush. We have formed the relationship of she says what to do and I do it. FULL TRUST!!! No questions asked. I have been ill for years and she always seems to know what to do... Thanks Dr. O... A million times over!!!

I Monica have lived in Arlington Tx 4 years now. I would drive back to Oklahoma for my doctor's visits every month because I couldn't find a good doctor here in Texas. I have seen aleast 10 doctor's here in Arlington/Ft. Worth area in the 4 yrs. none was kind nor had compassion or empathy and the most important thing I was looking for in a doctor them listening to the patients. Well MY DOCTOR CATHERINE O'CONNOR IS EVERYTHING I WAS LOOKING FOR IN A DOCTOR. She takes the time and listen to you she dosen't rush you she explains everything to you answer any questions and discuss any concerns you might have or experience. I FEEL THAT DR. O'CONNOR IS A GOD SENT FOR ANYONE WHO WALKS THROUGH THOSE DOORS. I'm so glad I did. I've been seeing her for a few months now and she's so pleasant she dosen't change on you as most doctors do. I have and will continue to recommend her to care for you or a love one ??. SHE'S THE REAL DEAL!!! I see some negative reviews NOT just come and experience yoursel

I met Dr. O'CONNOR today as a new patient for my wellness exam. Since i got new insurance through the healthcare marketplace, I had to find a new doctor. I am very pleased to find this practice. The office, staff and Dr. O'Connor were very kind and professional. I even had to bring my daughter in later the same day for an urgent problem! They were so kind to work her in, especially after finding that Care Now would've been a 4 hr wait! I highly recommend this practice!

The worst possible experience in my life. They all need to be fired and the clinic closed. The doctor yelled at me because she was tired. Who is not tired? Also on hold for 1. 8 hours waiting on test results. Horrible people need to be fired
