I have been seeing Cary consistently for about 8 months or so now. She has been one of the most helpful and thoughtful therapists that I've come across in my journey, and I have learned so much about my mental health as her client. I do see Cary virtually which of course has it’s difficulties now and then, but that’s an unavoidable hurdle in telehealth.Cary prioritizes her clientele’s needs and is excellent at educating and empowering them to recognize and change negative behaviors and patterns while establishing and reinforcing positive ones. This is done in a casual and comfortable manner, and I never feel spoken down to or embarrassed even when the topic is fairly personal or something I feel insecure about.I’m very grateful for her time and for all the help she’s given me. Seeing her has been an absolute game changer for me.

Exceptional Support and Guidance
Telehealth
I can't express enough how much Cary has helped me in managing my panic disorder. From the very beginning, she created a safe, understanding space where I felt comfortable opening up. Her approach is both supportive and practical, providing me with tools to cope with anxiety and panic attacks. I have seen a real improvement in my mental health thanks to her guidance and expertise. Her empathy and professionalism shine through every time we meet, and her calming presence has made a big difference in my healing journey. Cary has been a vital part of my journey toward better mental health, and I am truly grateful for her support.

Changed my life
Telehealth
I was really struggling before I started my therapy sessions. Whenever I've entered my appointments she is always so welcoming. I appreciate how helpful she is when it comes to giving me strategies to improve myself and she really listens to my concerns and thoughts. I've had times when I wanted to give up but she was always there to remind me of my accomplishments and progress. She also gives me homework to practice any strategies I learned. When I look back at my past self I can see how much improvement I've made and she was right there to celebrate my achievements with me, and she is patient enough to walk me through mindfulness strategies whenever I am struggling with them . She has allowed me to see myself in a new light and I appreciate every session we have. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs help understanding themselves or loving themselves. I am grateful everyday that I started my therapy journey.

Unprofessional
This counseling center is very unprofessional. Within the therapy appointment, I was a few minutes late to not find the therapist on the application, the therapist then deemed it was not within her "policies" and charged my card on file. Even though I have screenshots of the portal before the time that would have been out of policy she still states I am in the wrong. Highly would not recommend this counseling center to anyone seeking mental health assistance, it only causes more stress & anxiety. As you can see in the other review she is regularly late to her appointments and does not practice good business. *Listen to reviews!!

My appointments were virtual. On one occasion, Cary was 12 minutes late. 12 minutes isn’t a huge deal in everyday life but when you are paying a therapist a dollar per minute or more for their services, you expect them to be on time and if they aren’t on time you’d think they’d add time to the end, or adjust the payment. That was never the case for her tardiness. I wish I could say that was her only shortcoming. In our time together she read my journals and had very little if any feedback. She even read the lengthy articles I included in my journals. I can see where this could be helpful. If a therapist read an entry asked questions, and began to help you unpack the feelings you’d experienced at that time but that was not how the sessions were conducted. The time was spent with her reading and occasionally saying a few words. We did not solve or work through any trauma. It was extremely bizarre… to the point that I wondered if she was a legitimate physician.
