Was not what I expected lacked support
I worked with Carrie Diamond for years then I became physically sick and at times Unable to walk over the last 3 years which have been emotionally difficult in my opinion Carrie changed she also while during phone sessions didn’t want to help me using DBT and would hang up during mid session she also did not at times call me back when I asked for coaching also, she told me personal things about herself that made me feel uncomfortable and continued to do it

If you're looking for an objective view, I'm your best bet. I have sought treatment from quite a few different therapists, not a single one able to effectively treat each part of me together, leaving some portion of my mental illness exposed. I can honestly say that they were good therapists who simply lacked the knowledge and expertise to really narrow down what is causing all of my suffering. This is what I can tell you about Carrie Diamond: I first met her in DBT group and did not connect with her in any way. I was seeing someone in her practice and long story short, logistics made it impossible for me to see this person anymore. Carrie rearranged her entire schedule to take me on as a client and has been nothing less than reliable, straight forward and a genuine master of her craft. Everything she has done (Or not done) for me has been well thought out, insightful and meticulous. She has given me 100% both inside and outside her office doors and I could ask nothing more of her.

Well! To "blindsighted." I have known Carrie Diamond since 2004. Not only have I been in her DBT group, but I am actually a psychotherapist who practices DBT herself. This is a one-of-a-kind individual. As a result of my work with her, I have achieved a multitude of success and rewards. If Carrie "dumped" you, it is most likely because you gave her a reason. Work out the borderline issues, and this will not happen again. To the public, Carrie might as well be Marsha herself. Go to her!!!

Carrie advertises herself as thorough, thoughtful and diligent in her treatment, however this has repeatedly not been demonstrated through her actions. After having been ignored for a week following my request to make our weekly appointment, she dropped me as a client over text and made zero effort to provide me with a referral. This has been hurtful and damaging and I do not wish the same on others.

Dr. Diamond was very pleasant, however she told me she had no room in her group and referred me to another therapist on her team who was quite young and immature. I was disappointed in her judgment and would therefore not recommend her, even though she herself made a good impression.
