I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and stress and my symptoms were making it difficult to work or interact with my family. Carrie found the root cause of my issues through extensive bloodwork and her supplements have brought me back to 100% health. She asked for blood tests neither my primary care provider or endocrinologist did and found a cureable disease that the other doctors didn't even order the appropriate tests to look for. I recommend her wholeheartedly and wish all medical providers were as thorough

Dr. Ballas seemed kind and knowledgeable enough however the entire office is fairly disorganized and she runs the office like any other Western type facility but charges even higher prices than the institutionalized typical places. I had uploaded my labs on the patient portal days ahead of the visit but she wasn't alerted to them so the visit time was partially consumed with her seeing them for the 1st time. I had had a question with the labs which the front desk answered long after the visit and was therefor no longer even applicable. I was told a Genova labs test she recommended would cost $250 if I attached my insurance info with it. I told her my insurance will not (100% will not) cover this. "That's fine, what happens is you will still only be billed the $250 if you just at least attempt the insurance billing". That made no sense to me but I trusted her office. Yea, that didn't happen and I am suddenly owing another $145 to Genova. No follow-up inquiries, emails, or care whatsoeve

Carrie's office is different than most docs, it shouts health & energy! I feel at ease, cared for, listened to and understood. She includes me in the decision making process and gives me choices. She also diagnosed a miserable skin condition and in minutes of following her recommendations I felt better. I'm so grateful to have an integrated, nutrition & wellness based, healthcare provider. I haven't found anyone like her! Thankfully, because I refer all my clients.

All she really does is recommend unnecessary expensive tests not covered by insurance and try to sell expensive supplements. I do not recommend her and her shady practice. See a real doctor. She also tried to charge me for telling me over the phone she couldn't treat my thyroid condition after running the wrong thyroid tests, then calling in the wrong Rx after hanging up on me. Unprofessional and unethical. Rude office manager Heather is difficult to deal with as well.
