Dr. Carolyn Corbett, PHD

I saw this doctor briefly a couple of times, but most of my visits involved other staff members administering tests. One of them was a deaf woman who required a translator to understand me. Despite our limited interactions, she somehow formed a completely inaccurate picture of me based on the little information I provided. Unfortunately, this incorrect portrayal seems to be used for profiling and determining the type of person I am. There are no follow-up questions, no inquiries about my current mood, and no consideration of whether I’m sick, tired, or experiencing a temporary mental state. This lack of context leads to an unfair and misleading assessment which can be used against you. LUCKILY, I know myself, I may not have gone to school for psychology but I am very aware of why I do what I do and who I am as a person.
