I would not recommend Carmen Jacobson to anyone. According to her profile, her goal is "for my patients is to feel connected, supported and heard in all aspects of their care", but she does not live that out. I had been struggling with severe bloating for years without any answers, always told to eat more fiber, move, and drink water (all of which I did/do regularly), and she was no different. She tried to slap a bandaid on it and told me to get gas-X. Then she went as far as to tell me that maybe bloating was normal for me (bloating is not normal for anyone, it's a sign that something is wrong). I was not going to see someone who wouldn't listen. I have recently been diagnosed with SIBO and am so thankful for doctors who listen and take time to investigate what is going on. Always do your own research, you can't trust doctors to give you all the info or even care enough to figure out what is wrong.
