Cara Dubroff, WHNP-BC

I had a tele visit with Cara Dubroff , health nurse practitioner at Downtown Women, this past Friday regarding my issues with sleep. I have had sleep issues for the past 7 years and have met with my internist, have seen a cognitive sleep therapist twice and recently did a sleep study. Cara spent an hour and a 1/2 with me discussing my background and how menopause might be affecting my sleep. She was the first medical professional who really listened and seemed determined to find an answer. She suggested a few different things as well as a medication that no one else had suggested yet. IT was the first time I was left with a feeling of hope. She was patient and called me back twice after our allotted time ran out. One of the best medical experiences I have had.

I did not receive medical treatment from nurse Dubroff, however I spoke to her on the phone at Downtown Women OB/GYN. She was frustrated with the call (my question/concern) and told me "We are understaffed and you are NOT our priority!". Zero stars for bedside manner. And a first for me, coming from a medical professional.

Cara is a fantastic NP, I've never laughed so hard while getting my annual checkup. She also listened to all of my concerns and addressed each of them appropriately and thoughtfully. I highly recomend her!

I have seen my fair share of women's health providers over the years, and Cara Dubroff is by far the best. She provides respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental care. She is thorough and perceptive, always taking the time to answer my questions. When I found out I had HPV (something I felt a lot of shame and stigma around) she made me feel comfortable and less alone. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking GYN care!

Cara Dubroff is one of the most thoughtful doctors I've ever had. I felt instantly comfortable - she is a thorough, patient and dedicated doctor. I am so happy to have found such a trustworthy doctor, I could not recommend her enough!

Cara has excellent bedside manners. I felt like she spent more time with me than in a typical annual exam to fully understand my medical history and answer questions that I had. Gynecological exams can be uncomfortable because you are truly vulnerable, but Cara put me at ease as a human, not just another body. Highly recommend!

Cara is an outstanding healthcare provider! She is generous with her time, a great listener, and has a great deal of expertise in her field. She made me feel very comfortable and I would definitely see her again. Thank you!
