Bryan Murphy, FNP

My spouse and I both inherited this practitioner when our usual GP moved away. Nurse Practitioner Bryan Murphy consistently demonstrated a lack of patience and empathy. His arrogance had one good outcome: we left the practice and found an amazing, qualified, and empathetic primary care physician with n actual hospital affiliation.

I found him very helpful and courteous. He followed up test results promptly and was conscientious in all my dealings with him.

I missed a call & written message from my HCP that she wants to discuss a plan about a lab result. It was time sensitive for me, so when I called 1Med. back to speak with someone about the lab results, he answered. He was dismissive of my personal situation, made me feel stupid for calling & when I tried to create context as to why I was calling rather than waiting for a later appointment, he interrupted me saying curtly "are you going to let me finish my explanation?" like I was to be punished for trying to explain my concern. When I tried to read my HCP's message to him, he interrupted me "I know, I saw what she wrote and I don't know why she would write that, I probably just know more about it than she does." He made me feel bad for asking about treatment "well you could do this and that, but you'd be pumping it into your body for no reason." Demeaning to the patient, belittling a colleague. Who is he to suddenly know more than all of the context my HCP has w/o letting me say it?!

Very unprofessional. He's trying to overcompensate for not being an MD. Refused to listen to me. I had to go to another doctor who agreed my request was super trivial.

Terrible

Dr. Murphy was always so prompt and courteous, always made you feel welcomed and safe. A very caring professional.

I would never recommend Bryan Murphy to anyone for medical care. Avoid at all costs.

Good visit. Could be more verbal in responding to questions. Overall experience is very good.
