I had trouble with depression, saw 2 therapists, then went back to Ms. Brooks. I realize she is not a psychologist, but the way she talked with me -- so calmly and assuring, making suggestions -- was the best professional help I received. She is definitely meant to be a people helper; she sure did help me. Yes, the medication she prescribed for me has provided a boost, but I truly believe Ms. Brooks has been the key. For me, anyway. She is so sweet, and just the way she listened to me was a big deal ... she really did listen and hear me. I am not always good with words, telling people how I feel about them and/or what they do for me. I hope this relates just how much Ms. Brooks has helped me and how grateful I am to her. Dahlia Mumau
