Brent Landkammer, PMHNP-BC

I was a patient of Dr. Brent when he worked at Lourdes back in 2020-2021. He was by far the best I had seen in my time with Lourdes Counseling (been with them for 10 years). He put me on medication that actually worked and helped me navigate through the jumbled mess that previous psychiatrists had made of my mental health records. He actually cares. I enjoyed the fact that he talked in a way that my autistic, bipolar, ADHD mind could comprehend. He didn't try to force medicine on me. If I told him I wasn't comfortable taking something he would look to see what other options there was. All in all in a world full of psychiatrist who don't care and will try to pin weird diagnosises on you. Dr. Brent shocked me with his sincerity. You can tell he loves his job and actually cares for his patients!

I decided to stop seeing him because he would switch my meds and I would only find out when I was at the pharmacy to pick them up. I said I wasn’t comfortable with starting meds and switching them in the first place, he did not care. And afterwards, he tried to save his reputation saying HE dropped ME but I’ve got all the texts proving otherwise. See somebody else if you need genuine, attentive care. Not only did he lie to try to save his reputation, his lie is now on my psych record and his office won’t respond so I can send the text proving he was lying.

I have never met a more compassionate Psych NP in my life. He is so understanding takes the time needed and has helped me tremendously. I have had many bad experiences with or PSYCH Doctors and NP, been judged looked down on and it detoured me from taking meds at times. When I found Brett I found what it means to live again. No judgment and he truly understands people like me! Words can not express how lucky I have finally found d someone who actually has a passion for this profession!
