After multiple visits with Brenda Randolph, I would NOT recommend her.

Hello! I was seeing Brenda Randolph for about 6-7 months. With this provider, you should not feel comfortable to express your emotions. I ranted about a topic unrelated to my therapist and was told I was being “irrational” and was essentially yelled at because she let her personal feelings on the topic (copay coverage, the American healthcare system, and how the system is inaccessible for people with disabilities) influence her and cause anger at me. She told me “If you don’t like it here, then leave” (as in move to a different country). When I tried to defend myself (through hysterical crying) and my talking points and how I didn’t enter the meeting talking nonsense, I was just upset, and aren’t I in therapy allowed to voice my feelings and rant and isn’t she supposed to help me manage that?, she would continuously put her head in her hands and dramatically sigh. Unless you want a therapist who takes unrelated comments as a personal attack, I don’t recommend this one.

What a wonderful therapist! She brings skill and caring to her work and is a gift to work with.

Terrible experience with her. She was referred to me from my primary care dr. Saw her once in Ridgewood and said we would meet Saturday of same week. Set her cell phone for 45 mins. It went off and she said we are done. She put her coat on. Never called about Saturday appt. I don’t Chase drs. She was cold, rude and inventive. Wouldn’t have my dog see her!!Don’t use her, terrible attitude!
